Application Process
Program in Communication Disorders

The application for admission to the M.S. program in Communication Disorders is a two step process.

  1. By Feb. 1, complete an application to the Graduate School at the University of Arkansas-Fayetteville. Instructions for this application can be found on the Graduate School Web site at http://grad.uark.edu/
  2. By Feb. 1, complete a centralized application that goes directly to the Program in Communication Disorders. Instructions for this application are outlined below.

Centralized Application to the Graduate Program in Communication Disorders

Beginning this year, applications to the M.S. in Communication Disorders will be administered through the Council of Academic Programs in Communication Sciences and Disorders Centralized Application Service for Clinical Education in Audiology and Speech Language Pathology. This web-based service for audiology and speech-language pathology students has been created to provide a convenient site for prospective applicants to apply to multiple schools. Applicants access a single portal to identify and apply to programs of their choice. The system provides a real-time status tool so that applicants may check the status of their applications, transcripts, and letters of reference online at any time.

In order to apply for the master's degree program in Communication Disorders, prospective applicants should go to http://portal.csdcas.org. This link will allow yout o make application to the program and monitor your application. As part of this process you will need to supply the following:

  1. Submit an official transcript from each college from which you received course credit even if past course work appears on a later transcript. Please send all transcripts for the program application to the following address:

  2. As part of the application process, you will also need to provide via the Centralized Application Service:
    • Letters of recommendation - minimum of three. At least two of these recommendations should be from academic faculty members who know your work.
    • GRE scores if your CGPA is below 3.0

The Graduate School and Centralized Program Application must be completed by FEB. 1. Incomplete applications will not be considered in the admissions process.
