Research

Faculty from the Communication Sciences and Disorders program have active research agendas and ongoing projects. Over the past 5 years, faculty have contributed to multiple books, over 10 book chapters, over 60 journal articles and over 100 presentations. Faculty research has been published in well-respected peer-reviewed journals such as Brain and Language, Augmentative and Alternative Communication, the International Journal of Speech-Language Pathology, Frontiers in Human Neuroscience, Volta Review, the Journal of Autism and Developmental Disorders and the American Journal of Speech-Language Pathology to name only a few. Faculty conduct research at the UA Speech and Hearing Clinic as well as with local community partners and colleagues from around the world.
